I want to get better at updating this when I actually do stuff lol. A few weeks ago I went to the Big Philly Meetup MashUp Hackathon at Indy Hall, and it was a lot of fun! A lot of the other teams just used LLMs for everything which was lame, but we didn't and still came up with a project that I'm proud of: PhlArt. It's a map of Philly's public art based on an API created by one eccentric dude; I might write a blog post about the project once I put in some more work getting it cleaned up, but you can go ahead and check it out!

I'm taking a trans self-defense class! It's nice to be able to learn and move my body in a space surrounded by other trans people, where I (presumably) won't be judged for gender-related reasons, and in the current political climate it feels all too necessary to know how to defend myself.

I'm at the Homebrew Website Club hosted at Iffy Books here in Philly! It's a ton of fun, like a dozen people are here and talking about websites.

I've been (very slowly) working my way through the list of themes for Weird Web October. Don't pay attention to what month it is.

I'm researching moving to Canada due to the current transphobic political situation in the US. I would rather not have to, but better safe than sorry.

I've been out of work for a few months now, so I'm taking this time to connect more deeply with my family, as well as learning new things.
